We stopped by the Curious Iguana yesterday afternoon on the promise that we could pick up a great book that featured some local brewers and sip on a few samples. The Great Northeast Brewery Tour was the book and we enjoyed tastes of a few beers from Flying Dog and Milkhouse Brewery at Stillpoint Farm. Both are featured in the book written by Ben Keene. How cool is that?! Yet another example of why Frederick is so awesome. There are three other Maryland breweries featured as well as breweries throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic regions. We haven’t been out to Milkhouse Brewery yet, but after trying the Goldie’s Best Bitter and 4th Step IPA, we’re ready to go now and kicking ourselves for not going sooner.
