We’re super excited to grab our aprons and do some culinary learning at a few of our favorite Frederick restaurants and shops! The Downtown Frederick Partnership is debuting a new event on February 22 & 23, Downtown Cooking School.
It’s a series of culinary education classes offered by downtown chefs, food and drink retailers. There’s a wide variety of experiences to choose from, learn to shuck oysters, make your own signature dressing, mulled wine and much more!
This is sure to be a fun-filled weekend for anyone who loves to cook, have fun with food or just plain loves downtown Frederick. Ticket sales benefit Downtown Frederick Partnership and funds are reinvested into the Parternship’s efforts to make Downtown Frederick a better place to live, work and play. We’ll put it this way, the Partnership makes our job as tour guides much, much easier.
We’ve already got our tickets for an oyster shucking class at Brewer’s and the Mediterranean dips & brussels sprouts class at Ayse Meze, and now we’re thinking about signing up for “What’s America Drinking” with Spin the Bottle and the cheese tray class with Firestone’s Market.
Have you signed up yet? It’s sure to be a great weekend full of foodie-fun! Get your tickets here, maybe we’ll see you at a class.
