Volt is the restaurant that helped put Frederick’s food scene on the map and is for adventerous eaters and fine dining enthusiasts alike. The food and service will be enough to impress any date, but the beautiful 19th century brownstown mansion that houses the restaurnt isn’t going to hurt.
Attaboy Barrel Room
This is where Attaboy serves the fancy beer. Tart, fruity and funky fancy beers to be more precise. It’s grown ups only in this new space dedicated to barrel aging. This would be a great place to meet someone who shares your love for craft beer. Hit up the day’s food truck or bring in some snacks of your own.

One of our original food tour tasting locations, The Wine Kitchen will forever remain one of our favorite date spots. Brunch, Lunch, Dinner, doesn’t matter. If you want to have a nice meal with someone you fancy, you’re never going to go wrong at this Carroll Creek adjacent restaurant. Wine might be in the name, but do not overlook their cocktail list.
Vintage may not be in downtown Frederick, but we couldn’t resist mentioning this beautiful restaurant located on quaint Main Street in nearby New Market. Here you’ll find elevated comfort food and warm hospitality. Chef Stephanie Wilson’s deep connection to down home cooking is very evident in the menu and we will totally admit to having no control when it comes to her Chicken & Waffles.
