3 Reasons to Join Us on a Taste Frederick Food Tour
We are an independent small business and we take pride ensuring that each and every one of our customers has a fantastic tour experience. With fresh and delicious tastings and passionate, local guides, we are thrilled to share our passion for food and love of historic, downtown Frederick, MD with you.
1.) Delicious Food!
With seven tastings at yummy local restaurants and unique specialty food shops it will be easy to see why Frederick is quickly becoming one of the Washington D.C. metro area’s newest and hottest foodie destinations. For most people our tour is enough for lunch and covers the full spectrum of flavors – from savory brick oven pizza and fresh seafood to sweet artisan chocolate and freshly-made ice cream; our original food tasting and cultural walking tour has got your taste buds covered.
2.) Local Support!
On our tours you will be introduced to local, independently owned and operated businesses that we are proud to support with our tours and as individual patrons. We are incredibly passionate about supporting our local community, almost just as much as ensuring a great tour experience for our customers.
3.) You’re going to have a good time!
Whether you’ve come to Frederick for business or pleasure or you just happen to have a day off, we want to make sure you enjoy yourselves when you’re on a tour with us. Our tour guides are anxious to share their passion for food and love of Frederick, MD with all. They’ll share a local’s perspective and detailed knowledge about Frederick foodie culture, history and architecture. They may also make some attempts at light humor, they appreciate any and all laughter.
2 Reasons Why Not to Take Our Food Tours
1.) You don’t enjoy walking
While we do offer frequent opportunities to rest and sit down, Taste Frederick Food Tours do involve walking and standing over the course of three hours. If you are interested in sitting down for most of a tour, there are other area tour companies that offer motorized alternatives.
2.) You don’t enjoy trying new foods
We choose our tastings to please a wide-variety of palates and appetites but if trying new foods isn’t your cup of tea, our activities are more than likely not for you. There are some other great tours in the area that cover even more history, ghosts, or the Civil War that may be more of your cup of tea, and that’s totally OK.
